Well, I made this fractal the last year, as a tribute to one of my favourite Surrealism painters, Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). If you know about something this catalan artist, you know what I mean with my fractal. If you don't know, here some info: [link].
Have you seen Mandelwerk's attempts to make the Mandelbulb fractal generator 'do' a Dali? [link] There is even an 'impression' of Salvador Dali 'ripping off' Vermeer, something of which he would have been quite capable. I'm very fond of Max Ernst, myself.
Great. I love Dali. When I was a shy teenager, I used to hide in a small room with four of his paintings in it. No one knew about this little room, in a library, at the top of some stairs. I thought he was all for me, of course. It changed me in very good ways. You've got the colors and movement right, and the surreal planes. A very nice universe!
You're right. Dali's Universe is great. For many people, is ugly, but for me, is the best. I like very much the way of manipulate the time with the clocks and the dreams in his paintings.
